The Heard County Historical Society was organized August 29, 1979 to promote preservation of Heard County’s historic sites and records. The Society is a major sponsor of the Museum, making donations and encouraging the community to support the museum. The Old Jail Museum is open to the public, admission is free. We only ask that you sign our guest book.
